“Occasionally, a state agency or insurance company calls for a fire inspection,” interjected Jennings Hobson. "There’s no way to fill that requirement in the county at this time,” he said.
The Supervisors agreed to think about Luke’s suggestion for possible action at the April Board meeting.
Electoral Board member Col. Jack Carney reported that a new polling place may have been found for the Woodville precinct. Carney said he’d contacted the Deacons of Shiloh Baptist Church regarding the use of the Church’s Sunday School building. The building is clean, neat, located off the main road and has parking space and sanitary facilities, according to Carney, adding that he expected a decision from the Deacons later in March.
