Stokes Furniture Co. of Front Royal, is now under new ownership. The 61 year old furntiure company was recently purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tennett of Front Royal. Tennett has been associated with the company since 1942.
After an interum 39 months of service in the U. S. Air Force, Tennett returned to Stokes, working his way from delivery man to salesman, assistant buyer and finally store manager which he has been for 12 years.
The three stores which once comprised the Stokes Furniture Co. will now operate as the Tennett Furniture Co. maintaining
