Miss Darlene Sheryl Marshall of Roseland, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth H. Marshall, became the bride of Larry Donovan Neese of Wytheville in an evening ceremony on Saturday. June 24, 1978 in the Hebron Baptist Church at Alton. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Neese of Meadowview.

Miss Marshall was employed last year with the Rappahannock County School System as a fifth grade teacher.

The Rev. John Chaffee performed the double ring ceremony at seven o'clock before an altar holding arrangements of multicolored carnations and lighted candelabra decorated with carnations.

Mrs. Charlotte Farris was organist and soloist was Ms. Robin Glass. Both are from Avon.

Mr. Marshall gave his daughter in marriage. She "<>re an Empire full length chiffon gown trimmed in chantilly lace with a cathedral train. The long, full sleeves were trimmed in matching lace, as was the full length chiffon veil. Her bouquet was a cascade of red roses and stephanotis centered with a white orchid.
