Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Updike attended the Vial School of Dance recital held in Culpeper Saturday evening where their granddaughter, Kellie Updike was a participant.

Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones were Mr. and Mrs. Arne Olsen and family of Concord.

Trenton Burke of Culpeper was a Saturday afternoon caller of Mrs. Guy Burke. Sunday guests were Mrs. David Eisenman and Patty of Amissville.

Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz attended the Piedmont Beekeepers Association picnic at Red Oak Mountain Saturday evening.

Mrs. Nick Penaranda of Fairfax spent Wednesday and Thursday with her father, J. Stant Weaver. John D. Weaver of Washington D.C. was a Friday guest. Mark Penaranda and Patricia Kirby, both of Fairfax were weekend houseguests.

Melanie Moffett entered Fauquier Hospital Tuesday for a tonsilectomy. She is the daughter of Mr. and N^rs. William F. Moffett III.

Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley spent from Friday until Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dwyer in Woodbridge.

Mrs. Ashby Wayland was a Sunday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Wood at Reva Park.

Mrs. Frank Spalding of Flint Hill, with Mrs. L. J. Turner and Mrs. Mary Lea, attended graduation exercises Saturday evening for Mrs. Lea’s grandson, Thurmond Carlyle Lea III, at Woodberry Forest School.

Miss Becky Edmonds of Front Royal was a Sunday caller of Mrs. J. M. Lillard.

Calls

The Flint Hill Rescue Squad answered a call to the home of J. P. Walters June 1 but services were not rendered. On June 3 the squad answered a call to the home of Mary Pendleton on Route 622 and transported her to Warren Memorial Hospital. Charles Jenkins of Huntly was taken from his home the same day to the same hospital by the squad.

The Sperryville Rescue Squad answered a call to Rappahannock County High School June 5 and transported Connie Eline to Fauquier Hospital.
