Our school board sure has its hands full and lets give them the credit due them, but to the Board I make this suggestion; knowing we do need more rooms there please shop around and see if you can find some new kind of Push Button-Clean Yourself Type Rooms one with nonbreakable windows and everlasting fountains.
Congratulations, Seniors, you deserve extra credit for having earned your diploma in spite of conditions you tramped through.
Concerned Taxpayer,

Thank You
To the editor:
On behalf of the Rappahannock Unit of the American Cancer Society, I wish to express deep appreciation for the generosity of the citizens of Rappahannock County, who opened their hearts and purses in answet to the Cancer Crusade. Our volunteers worked long and hard to make this drive a success, and special thanks must go to them and their captains; Joyce Andrews, Pauline Bruce, Barbara Dennis, Gertie Poling, Sally Thornhill, and to the cocaptains: Janne Eastham, Ruby Green, Frances Lyne, Cotton Miller and Mary Schumaker.
Without these willing and able people we could not possibly have succeeded. Once again—thank you all.
