Larry Christian of Amissville was charged with hit and run following a collision at 1 a.m. on December 22 west of Amissville near Route 640. Trooper C. A. Moore was the investigating officer.
According to Moore, Christian was westbound on Route 211 when he struck a 1979 Toyota driven by Larry Steven Welch of Flint Hill who was travelling east. Christian, in a 1975 Oldsmobile, failed to stop at the scene and was apprehended and Anted for hit and run personal injury the following day, said Moore.
Welch sustained a severe head laceration and was taken to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton by Amissville Rescue Squad where he was treated.
