During Mrs. Qiiaintance’s three years as chairman of the service unit, the number of brownie and scout troops have doubled as she has found qualified leadership for the youngsters.

Mary Botts also gives of herself to less formal efforts at helping people. :‘She waits on more old people than anyone else in the county,” said her sister-in-law and close friend Arthlinda Quaintance. “She goes out of her way to make people welcome. 1 never would have stayed here without her.”
