Mt. Lebanon
Hosts Gospel
Bearer
Daniel Poysti, of the Pocket Testament League, will describe his work in distributing Bibles and New Testaments behind the Iron Curtain, in a special program at 8 p.m., Thursday- Jan. 10, at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
Operating from his home base in West Germany, Poysti has provided religious materials printed in Russian and the other Eastern European languages to believers in the USSR, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Romania, and Yugoslavia.
One of his most successful programs is what Poysti calls ‘‘God’s Love Letter To Russia," in which the Gospel message is presented in letter form. •
Using an extensive mailing list, and frequent personal visits to the big cities and tiny villages of these Communistdominated countries, Poysti, along with his wife Ruth and daughter Naomi, have been following the exhortation to preach the Good News to every person.
Mt. Lebanon’s pastor. Rev. William Lancaster, invites all members of the community to share in this inspiring evangelical message at the sanctuary, on Rt. 522, south of Woodville. A “love offering” will be taken to support Poysti’s ministry.
