NOTICE
The Board of Supervisors, Rappahannock County, has received and forwarded to the Planning Commission, an application for establishment of an Agricultural and Forestal District in Piedmont Magisterial District.
The application is made pursuant to Chapter 36 Section 15 1-1509 of the 1950 Code„of Virginia, as amended The applicants desire to place 750-plus acres, which have been in agricultural production for more than 100 years and are located near the village of Sperryville, in an Agricultural and Forestal District. The C* property to be considered is outlined on U S Geological and Rappahannock County highway maps which are on file in the County Clerk's office for public inspection. The applicants are C E. Johnson, Jr., C. E. Johnson, III, and Elizabeth Johnson Jones and desire the term for this proposed district to be a maximum of eight (8) years before being reconsidered for extension. This proposal includes all lands intended to be included in the district and that no further proposals by the owners desiring such district will be considered. In addition, the applicants may withdraw this land at any time until the Board of Supervisors makes a final decision Additional qualifying lands may be added to this district if approved, but only upon separate application pursuant to Chapter 36, Section 15.1-1509 of the 1950 Code of Virgiijja, as amended.
