third generATION - Continuing a tradition of 67 years, a member of the Cannon family has been named to head the Castleton Post Office. Marti Cannon took the oath of office Friday, October 2, effective the following day. Ross Crebbs, who administered the oath, said the Cannons had been good associates and had given good community service over the years. Marti Fulbright Cannon was reared in Fredericksburg and was graduated from Morris Hill College in North Carolina with a BA degree in education. She taught in Stafford and in Culpeper counties for a total of five years. She is married to Jimmy Cannon and they have a daughter, Ashleigh.
