school the senior class had the proud distinction of listening to Delegate Andy Guest. He presented a very informative talk on his views and responsibilities as a Delegate. Next week the Panther Tales will do a complete story on Delegate Guest and his opponent Dick Catron.
The seniors were also entertained this week by two members of the Army Reserve. Sergeant Gore discussed the need to learn discipline at an early age and to protect the welfare of our country.
The Student Cooperative Association held a planning meeting this week. They talked over possible fundraisers for the upcoming year and organized committees to form a Thanksgiving Assembly.
The Future Business Leaders of America met this week. Their officers for the upcoming your are as follows: President, Cindy Williams; Vice-President, Terry Williams; Treasurer, Pam Estes; Secretary, Mary Jordan and Reporters, Tracy Welch and Tammy North. The FBLA plans to put up a calendar which will have everyones birthday posted onit. They also plan to hold fundraisers for the Easter Seals and to purchase a gift for the school.
