Paper Bag Apple Pie Mix together:
6 cups sliced apples '/i cup sugar 2 Tablespoons flour Vi teaspoon nutmeg 2 Tablespoons lemon juice Pour into pie plate and top with Vi cup sugar, Vi cup flour. 1 stick margarine, mixed together. Slide into heavy brown bag, fold open end over twice and fasten with paper clip. Put on large cookie sheet for safety. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for 50 minutes. Apples will be tender and top bubbly' and golden. The following recipe tor applesauce cake was found by the late Eva L. Smith. It needs no eggs!
