Season Openings
Several hunting season^ open in the next few weeks.
The raccoon chase season began October 1. Squirrel season begins in some parts of the state this month; hunters should check the regulations in their area.
Early waterfowl season this year lasts from October 7-10. Archery season begins October 10.
