The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) has announced plans for a second block dance to be held on Saturday, September II. RAAC reported an enthusiastic response to the July third dance, as well as a successful art show held on the 4th of July.
Joy Luke, chairman of the RAAC Board of Directors, said that a general meeting of the membership is planned for August 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Washington Courthouse. Luke said that, at that time, the Board of Directors will report on progress to date and tentative plans for the future. The Board of Directors also wants to hear suggestions from the members on which activities and programs they believe are most important to the community, and encourages new members to attend.
