Class Reunion
The Rappahannock County High School graduating class ot 1972 will have their ten year reunion on Saturday, August 21, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Rappahannock Recreation Center near Washington. Class members and their families are invited to attend and are asked to bring a picnic lunch. A special invitation is extended to the teachers of the class of '72. Coppage Reunion
The families ot tHe late George and Florence Coppage will have their annual reunion on Sunday, August 22, at the Rappahannock Recreation Center near Washington. All relatives and friends are urged to attend. Lunch will be served at 12:30.
Revival And Homecoming
Revival services will be held at Befcch Spring Baptist Church near Sperryville from August 23-29 each evening at 7:30. The Rev. Wayne Richards from Luray will be guest speaker. Sunday. August 29. will be homecoming day and the public is cordially invited.
Piedmont Baptist Revival
Piedmont Baptist Church near Sperryville will hold revival services August 16-22 each evening at 7:30. The Rev. Edward Hawkins of Culpeper will be guest speaker. All day services will be held on Sunday, August 22, with lunch being served at the church. The public is invited to attend.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School has been rescheduled at the Sperryville Assembly of God Church for August 16-20 each evening from 6:30-8:30. There will be classes for all ages and the public is cordially invited to attend. The Rev. Ray Campbell is the pastor.
Historical Society Meets
The Rappahannock Historical Society will hold its annual picnic at 6:30 p.m., Friday. August 13 at Montpelier. Guest Speaker, Robert Jacobs-, Fauquier High School Social Studies department head, will present a slide lecture on 18th century Virginia.
Paid-up members and house guests only are invited to attend and asked to bring a covered-dish picnic supper to share.
