In General District Court on Tuesday, Judge John Alexander ordered a psychiatric examination for Clarence Anthony Stewart after he waived his right to a preliminary hearing.
Stewart is being held on credit card ' theft, unauthorized possession of a credit card, breaking and entering, and petty larceny in connection with a robbery at the home of Brian Patterson.
Proceedings had begun for the preliminary hearing with David Konick representing Stewart as his court appointed lawyer. Stewart interruped, arguing with the Judge that he didn’t want a preliminary hearing. “I don’t want a lawyer. I said that the last time,” he insisted.
