Class Reunion The Rappahannock County High School graduating class of 1972 will have their ten year reunion on Saturday, August 21, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Rappahannock Recreation Center near Washington. Class members and their families are invited to attend and are asked to bring a picnic lunch. A special invitation is extended to the teachers of the class of’72. Enrichment Classes Set Fall Enrichment Programs are starting up at Sursum Cord a School and Day Care Center in Washington. The Women's Exercise Group meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30. A Pre-School Dance Group is forming for ihe 3-3'/i thru 5 year olds on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:20 and an Introductory Dance class for the 2-3 year olds on Tuesday afternoons trom 4:30 to 5:00 both starting August 31. Rule and Recorder Lessons are offered on an individual basis on Thursday afternoons. Speech Lessons and Private Tutoring are available on a continuing, individual basis. Tentative scheduling has been set for Karate on Mondays, School-Age Dance (6-12 year olds) on Wednesdays, I eenage Dance (13-18 year olds) on Wednesdays and Art for Children (6-12 year olds) on Thursdays. Coppage Reunion The families of the late George and Florence Coppage will have their annual reunion on Sunday, August 22, at the Rappahannock Recreation Center near Washington. All relatives and friends are urged to attend. Lunch will be served at 12:30.
County Spirit Coming The Town of The Plains will be celebrating Country Spirit on October 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Craft exhibitors, musicians, and talented individuals interested in booths or performing are asked to write Ihe Plains Business and Professional Association, P.O. Revival And Homecoming Revival services will be held at Beech Spring Baptist Church near Sperryville from August 23-29 each evening at 7:30. The Rev. Wayne Richards from Luray w ill be guest speaker. Sunday. August 29, will be homecoming day and the public is cordially invited.
