This Saturday night the Red Rose Flyers of Chapel Hill, N.C.. will perform a square dance at the Washington Community Center at 8 p.m. At 7:30 there will be a workshop to teach some of the basic steps to beginners.
The Red Rose Flyers is a hard driving southern style string band bent on showing folks a good time. A square dance with them is an experience few will ever forget. The combination of the Flyers’ dynamic sound and the high energy calling of Tom Hold has enabled them to build a reputation throughout the East Coast as one of the best square dance bands available.
