Mrs. Josephine Lyne Dennis, 74, of Richmond, formerly of Orange, died Sunday, August 8. 1982, in a Richmond nursing home.
Memorial services were held Wednesday at All Saints Episcopal Church, Richmond. with burial at Graham Cemetery, Orange.
Mrs. Dennis was born December 3, 1907, at Willow Grove, Orange County, daughter of the late Hiram Oliver and Mary Sizer Lyne.
Surviving are two sons, Capt. John William Dennis, Jr.. USAF, of York County and Lyne Cox Dennis of Richmond; two brothers, Hiram Oliver Lyne. Jr. of Orange and William Henry Lyne of Washington; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Lyne Thompson of Charleston, S. C.. and Mrs. Nancy Lyne Coleman of Orange, and three grandchildren.
