Gospel Concert _
Gospel groups from local churches will present a gospel extravaganza at the Rappahannock County Elementary School on Sunday, April 24, beginning at 3 p.m.
Admission will be $2.50 for adults and $1 for children with proceeds to benefit Hopewell Baptist Church.

Gay Street Theater
RAAC Film Selection this week is Missing, Academy Award nominee of political intrigue with Jack Lemmon and Sissy Spacek. Show times are Friday, April 8 at 8:00 and Sunday, April 10 at 7:00, both at the Gay Street Theater in Washington.
Barn Dancing
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community (RAAC) will sponsor a Barn Dance Friday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m.
There will be square dancin’ and old time music at the Bird Barn two miles northeast of Washington on Fodderstack Road (watch for signs). Rain or shine, admission is $3.50 ($2.50 for RAAC members). If you wish, bring a homemade pie for the Pie Auction (benefit RAAC). Fiddle, banjo, guitar, and dance calling by The Dancing Bear from Charlottesville.
Festival Of The
Performing Arts
The third annual Festival of the Performing Arts at Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music will be Tuesday through Sunday, April 510. The festival will feature performances by all of the campus musical groups, including choral, instrumental, orchestral and dance ensembles, as well as professional faculty ensembles.
Other highlights will be performances by Susan and Gennadi Vostrikov formerly of the Moiseyev Classical Ballet and several performances of J.M. Synge’s classic comedy, Playboy of the Western World.
