Grigsby demonstrated his versatility with another first in the 100 yard dash and added yet a third blue ribbon for his part in the 880 relay contingent with Larry Sisk, Robert Starks and Lindsey Roberts. Wayne Woodard, a freshman who has shown good speed, was second in the 100 yard dash for Rappahannock.
Grigsby and Woodard finished first and second in the 220 while Chris Capterton and Robert Starks were first and third in the 440. In the 330 intermediate hurdles, Lindsey Roberts crossed the line in a first place tie with Ken Estes hot on' the fV6nt runners’ heels for third.
David Dodson added third place points in the 880 for Rappahannock and Tim Williams upped the tally with a second in the shot and a third in the discuss.
Rappahannock did not have any entries in the pole vault. “That gave Strasburg nine points,” noted the coach.
The Panthers host their first home meet^-this^ Wednesday and then travel to Clarke County next week. r
