The weathered 20 foot poles that once blended into the forests, their parallel lines invisible against the tree line on Susan and Bill Cameron’s hilltop farm are no longer along. They’ve been joined by the behemoths of utility poles, 75 foot giants three feet in diameter that tower above the trees, dangling wires that glow in the sunshine and festooned with bell insulators the size of dinner platters.
