—Rappahannock News Photo/T. Reynolds THE JOINT WAS JUMPIN’ March 22 at the Rappahannock Elementary School when the upper grades participated in the Jump For Heart Contest. Over $3300 was pledged in the competition, based on the minutes jumped. Now, with most of the pledged amount collected, the winning team has been selected: George Dunn, who was also the highest pledged single jumper with $123 in pledges, Vicki Compton, John Keys, James Nicholson, Debbie Nicholson and Sheri Kidwell. Merchants sponsoring the event were The Old Hollow Grocery, Sperryville Comer Store, Washington Cash Store, B & B, Baldwin’s West End Shell, and the Parkway Gift Shop.
