She added that current budget savings are anticipated to come in the categories of gas, oil and other lubricants ($53,000 budgeted and only $25,000 spent as of the end of February) and heating fuel ($45,000 budgeted and only $20,000 spent at the same point).
By unanimous vote, the supervisors authorized the transfer of the unspent funds to capital outlay and their carry-over into the next budget year, clearing the way for the school board to sign the construction contract for the new building.
