The Board also wants to write a standard application form to be completed by people whose proposals must be considered. During the public meeting a final decision had not been reached concerning the content of the application. The members tentatively agreed to model the form after a similar one used by the Board of Architectural Review in Fairfax.
During the meeting Dr. Martin, representing the Krebser and Martin Partnership, said that the new building would be painted in brown and tan colors. There was much discussion regarding the types of colors that will be permited by the ARB. Mr. Thomasson presented Dr. Martin with color chips for examination but the members reached no formal agreement during the public meeting.
Barbara Wood, whose attorney had objected to the structure on her behalf, was also in attendance. Her home is adjacent to the proposed structure.
She questioned the height of the proposed building to Dr. Martin. He replied that the building would be fifteen feet tall.
