Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cloe, Jr. and daughter, Beth, of Stafford and Weedon Cloe, of the College of William and Mary are expected to spend Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Pillar.

Mrs. T.M. Johnston and Mrs. Mary Quaintance were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne at the Thanksgiving dinner at Forest Grove Saturday evening.

Clifton Nethers, of Amissville, who had surgery at Fauquier Hospital has returned home after convalescing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers.

Mrs. Lee Swindler and son, James Swindler attended funeral services last Wednesday for their cousin, Lois Smith, in Greenville, Tenn. They were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur McLean in Greenville.

Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Kathryn Wayland and Mrs. Julia Wood visited Mrs. Ann Fox in Fauquier Hospital on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cordle and daughter, Devon, of Williamsburg, will spend Thanksgiving weekend with Mrs. W. H. Cordle and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sisk.

Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne make frequent trips to University Hospital, Charlottesville to visit Mr. Lyne’s sister, Mrs. Beauclerk Coleman.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Coates, of St. Augustine, Florida, announce the birth of their daughter, Sarah Catherine on Wednesday, November 13,1985.

The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. John Coates, of Brightwood and Mr. and Mrs. John Kern, of St. Augustine, Fla.

Great-grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers, of Sperryville and Mrs. Sarah Coates, of Madison.
