The net effect of both rate changes-increased base rates and the lower fuel rate-will have the following effect on residential customers:
— Residential customers using 875 kilowatt hours of electricity a month will realize an increase of 84 cents a month (1.6 percent) as the average bill rises from $54.06 to $54.90 a month.
— Residential customers who heat with electricity and use an average of 2,000 kilowatt hours a month will see their bill increase by $2.40 (2.0 percent) from $117.55 to $120.01 a month.
