Lord Fairfax Christmas Bazaar Lord Fairfax Community College student organizations will hold a Christmas Bazaar on Sunday, December 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the College Conference Center. Alcohol Safety report Delegate Raymond R. “Andy” Guest, Jr. (R-Warren) has received a copy of the Tenth Annual Report for the Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program. This report is available for inspection in Delegate Guest’s Legislative Office located at 27 South Royal Avenue in Front Royal.
No-tillage practice A program entitled, No-tillage: A Best Management Practice, will be held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, Timonium, Md. on Dec. 18. There will be a fee of $3 for lunch. Call the Extension Office by Nov. 26 to register.
Teen weekend A teen weekend will be held at the 4-H Center from Feb. 7-9. More information will be in future issues of the News. -
Parent-teacher Association to meet The Rappahannock County Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association will be meeting on Tuesday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the school library. All parents and teachers are urged to attend. Babysitting will be provided.
Business Council to meet The Washington Business council will meet on Thursday, December 5 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Brambles. Several projects of interest from businesses in town will be discussed.
Membership is open to all business owners in town.
