Ever wonder what it would be like to look inside an Egyptian pyramid?
RCHS freshman Anthony Fudd provided his school with a first-hand look this past week with his pyramid creation. Anthony created a hinged pyramid as a project for Jeanne Griffin’s World History class. Complete with an opening “casket” and a mummy inside, Anthony’s work also included sculpted figures of riches, animals, and painted figures of Egyptians. There was even a full‘RADD’

Don’t drive after a drink; the statistics alone are staggering. There are 25,000 alcohol-related deaths annually on the nation’s highways. That’s 500 deaths each week; 71 every day; one every 20 minutes.
Getting people not to drive after a drink is the goal of Rappahannock High School students who met November 13 to discuss the issue and form a new organization. The students decided on a name: Rappahannicans Against Drunk Driving (RADD).
During the meeting students reviewed information received from Students Against Drunk Driving (SADD), a national organization, and created three posters to initiate student awareness of the new group.
“We encourage anyone interested in making driving safer to attend our next meeting," said RADD member Kristi Pendleton.
RADD is also seeking contributions from the community to heip “get the organization on its feet,” Miss Pendleton said.
