William F. Bywaters
William Franklin Bywaters, 84, of Viewtown, died Tuesday, November 19, at Culpeper Health Care Center following a long illness.
Mr. Bywaters was a native and lifetime resident of Culpeper County, a retired farmer, a member of the Amissville Baptist Church, where he served as treasurer for 55 years. He was also chairman of the Board of Deacons for a number of years.
Mr. Bywaters was a member of the Washington Masonic Lodge. He served on the Culpeper County Board of Supervisors and was chairman of the Board.
Survivors include two sisters: Annie Laurie Bywaters, of Viewtown and Mrs. Roland Clement, of Jeffersonton; one brother, H.D. “Dick” Bywaters, of Culpeper; two nephews and one niece.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 21, at the Amissville Baptist Church Ceme tery. The Rev. John Farrar and Rev. John Franklin officiated.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Amissville or Culpeper County Rescue Squads.
Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
