With temperatures in the 60s on Saturday, the crocuses have burst forth with an array of colors. Robins are everywhere and gardeners are making big plans for spring planting. And it’s not too early to begin your spring cleaning.

Also the Fire Company is sponsoring a Leap Year dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 29. The band “Tarragon” will play. Call 937-4357.

The Amissville Homemakers Club meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 2 at Amissville Baptist. President Mary Priest welcomes everyone to attend.
