For all. those years of work he took home only $55,000 total.
There is one more inconsistency in the article. At the end of the eleventh paragraph it states that the “staff and parents at Wakefield-Marshall have said that moving from Huntly has been worth the considerable sacrifice”; you failed to point out in your article that in this very suit they also seek readmittance onto the property in Huntly. If they are so happy in Marshall, why do they ' want the Huntly property so badly? My own guess is that they are tired of paying $50 a day to rent their gymnasium in Marshall and want to reacquire the very same gymansium which they are suing my mother for building.
It is unfortunate that in their desperation to discredit my family they must trample the reputation of a dead man. I trust that those who knew my father are well aware of the absurdity of these charges. It is a shame, however, that those who did not know him must now be forever misinformed as to his moral character. To me and many others he will remain a great man who has opened doors and given me many opportunities which I might otherwise never have had.
