Two out-of-towners were charged with spotlighting and trespassing with the intent to hunt on posted property after police were called to a Route 631 property in Huntly at 10:55 p.m. Feb. 21, according to Rappahannock Sheriff John H. Woodward.
Vicki Rankin, 21, of Waynesboro, and Howard Beverage, 21, of Staunton, were arrested on the Foster property by Deputy Chris Williams and Trooper Chuck Moore of the State Police.
Capt. Jeff Brown interviewed them later that evening and placed formal charges.
