registration
The Rappahannock Athletic Association’s annual baseball registration will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 29 for children ages 6-18 at the Ami88ville Fire Hall, the Flint Hill Fire Hall and Rappahannock High.
Fees are $15 per child or $25 per family with an extra $1 charge for a laminated Babe Ruth League ID card. The Babe Ruth cards serve as birthdate IDs and are good for all the years your child plays baseball. Parents are instructed to bring birth certificates to the registration. Signup' for 16-18 year olds will be $20 per child. '.
This year the Rappahannock Athletic Association is seeking those interested in a girls’ softball league. Registration for girls ages 8-16 will be done in conjunction with regular baseball and the fees are the same.
If for some reason the girls teams cannot be organized, girls will have the option to play baseball or have the fee refunded.
Tryouts will be March 7, and Opening Day js April 24.
