One wonders which action is worse: to “dump” puppies unable to live without protection, or to get rid of a faithful companion animal because he has become too old? People who do that are treating a living, trusting creature as a broken tool to be thrown on the garbage heap.
The photos in your paper have helped the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (R.A.W.L.), in several instances, to find owners for these discarded innocents.
