A second video clip presents a portion of a documentary interviewing Colin Andrews and showing interesting details of a variety of “crop circles,” some as large as 400 feet across. The unusual effects of these mysterious energies on living grain stalks and seeds has puzzled scientific researchers.
The concluding video is an exclusive interview with Dr. Hawkins that wll stimulate an appreciation for the scientific process when applied to finding a credible explanation for these unprecedented phenomena.
Dr. Hawkins recalls, “The first clue I found among the crop circles in 1990 was a great surprise, the ratios of music. I analyzed the entire sample of circles accurately measured between 1981 and 1988 and out of a total of 18, 11 gave diatonic ratios. Was the first point of the intellectual profile (of the hoaxers) a knowledge of the diatonic scale?”
Dr. Hawkins was also interested to discover that the circle makers seemed to have a sense of humor.
