older girls was held with a “Thinking Day” program for Girl Scouts of all ages. Each troop took a country and told something about it.
Some of the girls had made costumes; some performed dances; some made posters or displayed objects from the chosen country.

With Two
In Rappahannock County Circuit Court last Friday, Kenneth Ivar Jacobs, 30, of Castleton, pleaded guilty to trespassing and grand larceny.
Mr. Jacobs was indicted on March 14 for trespassing on the property of Robert Smith and stealing several automobile parts. He must report to the Rappahannock County jail on April 5 for DNA testing, and will be sentenced on June 20.
Robert Adam Love, 20, of Sperryville, who is serving 90 days in jail for stealing firearms, asked Judge Selwyn Smith if he could be let out of jail on work release. Commonwealth Attorney Peter Luke said that he opposed this because Mr. Love’s jail sentence is part of a plea agreement with the Commonwealth, and restitution in the amount of $300 had not been paid in full at the proper time.
Judge Smith told Mr. Love, “I think you need to stay in jail to see what jail is all about. ”
