fact, the deadline I was given to work toward was March 10. This seemed reasonable if one is serious about good government.
At the meeting a number of would be delegates, it turned out, had not paid the fee. But for various reasons the party leaders favored their doing so, late as it might be. A judgement by a so-called “parliamentarian” was rendered in favor of the wishes of the party leadership. In doing, so he travialized the proceedings, an affair that was replete with unseemly levity in any case. The bias of the persons running the meeting was unmistakable. In most situations of this kind the presiding officals at least attempt a show of impartiality, but not in this case.
Much is made of the fact that in American elections half the voters don’t vote. Given that fiasco I intend to join them. In order to enfrachise people of this persuasion the Libertarian Party suggested the last line on any ballot should read “None of The Above.” If “None of The Above” wins, the position is not filled. Some of us are convinced that America would survive a surprising amount of this. Indeed, it would be no worse than the kind of government propogated by last Monday night’s hijinks.

Wake up Americans! Evil is marching in its heavy boots up and down across our land. Evil comes masquerading as good and as a protector of our civil liberties while its underlying purpose is destruction of our civil liberties.
Division is encouraged and exploited between ethnic groups, color of skin, economic condition, religious beliefs-you name it. As long as we can be persuaded to fight each other we cannot join together against a common enemy.
Look back, what was the basis for our moral standards some years ago? The props were knocked out from under us when the gag rule against God was imposed in our public schools. Kick Clod out and man can set up any standards he choses. He can change these standards whenever it is convenient for his agenda. Take a look at many of the court cases the ACLU is defending against Christians who are U.S. citizens.
We are coming up again to graduation time in our schools and colleges. Are we going to buckle under again to the ACLU because we might be sued for honoring our God for His goodness and mercy? Are we going to allow the ACLU, or any other such organization, to be our derision maker? Choose you this day whom you will serve! (Joshua 24:15)
