Pony races open the day’s action, with a 5/8ths sprint and a novice timber rounding out the card. Closing the program is the ever-popular hound race, open to all hound owners in the area. Recognized hunt clubs are not eligible, however, leaving the field open to private and farm packs. A drag is laid for hounds to follow around the racecourse.
