He said the extension service has taken more than its share of cuts from Richmond. “Extension has been singled out, whether by the legislature, the governor or Virginia Tech, we have to find out.
“Virginia Tech can say Richmond didn’t give us the money, and the state government can say we gave /them the money, but Tech spent it on something else,” he said. “That way they can shuffle off responsibility.” ,
He said as a member of the Extension Leadership Council “I wasn’t aware that Scott was getting signals about finding another job.”
