B.J. Stringfellow
Bernard J. Stringfellow, 55, of Amissville died March 21 at Fauquier Hospital after a long illess.
He was a self-employed logger for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Stringfellow of Culpeper, two sons, Jason Stringfellow of Culpeper and Carroll Stringfellow of Sperryville; five daughters, Shelby Elkins of Front Royal, Linda Stringfellow of Midland, Peggy Gallihugh of Madison, Michelle Stringfellow and Christal Stringfellow, both of Culpeper.
He is also survived by one brother, Robert L. Stringfellow of Amissville and two sisters, Edith Thelma Stringfellow and Edna Pearl Thomas, both of Amissville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Franklin Stringfellow and his mother, Mamie Louise Spicer, two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Stringfellow and Carrie Louise Stringfellow and three brothers, Frank Stringfellow, Thomas Stringfellow and Ned Stringfellow.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 25 at Found & Sons Chapel with the Rev. Darrell Bare officiating.
Interment was in the Hillcrest Cemetery near Jeffersonton.

Ollie Alther
Ollie Mae Alther, 93, of Front Royal, formerly of Washington, D.C. and Sperryville died Wednesday, March 23 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Front Royal.
Miss Alther was bom in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Jacob and Millie Bruce Alther.
She was employed as a housekeeper in the Washington, D.C. area retiring after 46 years.
Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 9 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Front Royal. Arrangements are being handled by the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper.
Thomas Frazier
Mr. Thomas Thornhill Frazier, 67, of Jeffersonton died on Thursday, March 24 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
