A social worker from the Department of Social Services testified that the girl’s therapist had told her about the girl’s father sexually abusing her.'
Ed Streapy, who was then the Major in the Sheriff’s Office, was notified of the allegations and interviewed the girl in June. At that point, he said, the girl’s mother, had no knowledge of her daughter’s allegations. The mother and father are no longer married to each other and share custody of their daughter.
