Mr. Carrigan has been moved from a hospital to a nursing home. He suffered a head injury, three broken ribs and bruises on much of his upper body.
Charles Eldred told the council the street light fixtures had arrived but the decorative scroll was not what was ordered. If the town is to get what it ordered, it will also be necessary to drill new holes in the arms to mount the correct scrolls, he said. As a result the Town Hall is filled with boxes containing parts for the street lights waiting on word from the supplier on replacements.
Mr. Gooch reported that only a small handful of people showed up for two public forums with residents from town on the town’s future. He said the Futures Committee will hold a business meeting to make specific recommendations to the council.
Ms. van Dort reported that leaks from the water system continue and that some people have fallen behind in paying their water bills.
