Timothy Edmonds O’Meara was one of 86 seniors to receive a diploma during the 107th commencement at Woodberry Forest School on June 1. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard P. O’Meara of Sperryville.
A magna cum laude graduatfe, he will attend Yale University in the fall.
During graduation exercises Tim ‘fditemfcrtlf* WIllltriln'iVT.' Hahn . Memorial Medal as the senior who made the most significant contribulion to .the work of the Service Committee. He compiled more than 350 hours of service work last summer when he assisted with a goodwill construction project in a Mexican village. He also received the Master of Sports award for earning letters in three varsity sports — soccer, indoor and outdoor track -— during his senior year.
