The mother testified that when she heard about the allegations, she called up the defendant’s sister and made threats against the defendant, saying “I * threatened to run him over with my car; 1 threatened to kill him.”
The daughter said that her parents did not get along, and she also said her mother had not suggested she make the charge. She said she had been upset since the incident and had been in counselling. She was also placed in a foster home from February through June.
The defendant denied sexually abusing his daughter, claiming that he did nothing but touch her on the back when he got home, to wake her and say hello. His sister, who was in the house at the time of the incident, testified that he was not in the room long
