Nearly 20 times a day, Ken Pankow of Flint Hill looks a gift horse in the mouth. Or a child’s pony, a well-loved brood mare, a talented hunter or a retired pensioner living the good life in horsey retirement.
An equine dentist, or certified equine dental technician, Pankow’s local practice ranges from Baltimore, Annapolis and Hagerstown, south to Charlottesville and Fredericksburg. Other times throughout the year, he sees clients or lectures in Colorado, Pennsylvania, and Germany.
