On July 26, county residents joined host John Kiser at his home on Popham’s Ford Road to begin planning for the 11999 “Trash Free Rappahannock” project. In addition to discussing how to get more involvement from the community at large to participate in this win-win approach to community needs by picking up inconsiderate litterer’s eyesores and raising funds for worthy causes, there was also much interest expressed for “the Bigger picture” of long-term education toward an overall change in how we deal with our trash and “waste” products in Rappahannock.
