Opening reception planned
Glassworks Gallery will be hosting the artwork of Phillip Smiley during the month of August. Smiley is a county resident currently enrolled in the graduate program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He has recently finished his undergraduate studies at Ringling School of Art and Design. Smiley’s show is a wonderful collection of impressionistic and surrealistic images and shows the depth of this growing artists imagination.
Phillip Smiley’s opening reception will be Sunday, Aug. 16 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Glassworks Gallery. The gallery is located one mile west of Sperryville. Open hours are Thursday through Sunday, noon until 5 p.m.
