The Administrative Board of the Sperryville United Methodist Church met last Thursday at the home of Jim and Phyllis Swindler.
Those in attendance were Rev. Merlin Shorb, Nelson Nethers, Hugh Chrisman, Gray Armistead, Mrs. Margaret Ann Wayland, Mrs. Polly Aylor arid Mrs. Emma Swindler.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Baldwin and David were Thursday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Pullen and Ashleigh in Washington.
Straford Settle and Reva Tutt of Culpeper, Stanley Alther and Billy Wayland spent Monday in Pennsylvania touring places of interest around j Greencastle, Chambersburg and Shippensburg.
The Sperryville United Methodist Church will hold Vacation Bible School Aug. 17-21 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The theme will be Circle of Love. The program will conclude on Friday with a very special celebration. All area children are invited to attend for a fun filled week of crafts, games, songs and refreshments.
