They also toured the Piedmont Baptist Church in Rappahannock County, which was built in the early 1840’s. John Godfrey and Hettie Dyke Nethers and other descendants attended this church and were buried nearby.
Approximately 160 Nethers descendants from the states of Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Texas, West Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia attended and enjoyed a delicious lunch and fellowship with one another.
